Terms & Conditions

Payments & Lesson Records

If lessons are paid for in cash, learners are responsible for keeping their own lesson records, such as confirmations via text message.

Provisional Licence Requirement

All students must bring their valid UK provisional driving licence to every lesson. Lessons cannot take place without it.

Legal Disclosure

Learners are legally required to inform their instructor during the first lesson if they are currently subject to a driving ban.

Financial Responsibility

Payments made directly to franchised instructors constitute a private agreement between the learner and the instructor.
Dagenham Driving School accepts no responsibility for these transactions.

Lesson Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
All cancellations or changes must be arranged directly with your instructor.

Driving Test Vehicle Use

Instructors reserve the right to withdraw the use of their vehicle for a driving test if they believe the learner is not adequately prepared.
Where possible, a minimum of 5 working days’ notice will be provided. This may not apply if the test is booked with less than 5 working days’ notice.

Lesson Disruptions

Dagenham Driving School is not liable for lesson cancellations caused by mechanical issues or vehicle breakdowns.

Conduct & Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all instructor vehicles.
Dagenham Driving School operates a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour.

Equal Opportunities Policy

Dagenham Driving School is committed to equal opportunities and does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, creed, gender, or sexual orientation.

Block Bookings

Block-booked lessons must be completed within 6 months from the date of the first lesson.
Block bookings are non-refundable once any lessons have been used.
If you are unsure about committing to future lessons, we recommend choosing a pay-as-you-go option.

Complaints Procedure

Learners should first raise any concerns with their allocated instructor.
If the issue remains unresolved, please email dagenhamdrivingschool@gmail.com.
Emails are reviewed during office hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm).
For urgent matters, please call +44 7724023204 and follow up with an email for clarity.
Concerns regarding driving test preparation must be raised before the test date.
